Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general. Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum.Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions: But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. I don't think we should continue here in the P3D support forum.Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. The FSUIPC4 installer does provide, in the FSUIPC Documents subfolder, both a list of FSX and P3D controls and a list of the FSUIPC4 offsets.īTW the place for FSUIPC support is the FSUIPC Support Forum, as documented.

But where there isn't one you may instead be able to operate the switches through FSUIPC offsets, assigning to Offset Byte, Word or Dword Set controls. In many cases you may find distinct "on" and "off" or even "set" controls (the latter take a parameter) which you can use instead of the toggle control. This is not a function of either FSUIPC or the simulator but the nature of a control which effectively says "reverse the state of this switch". If you are assigning to controls ("events") which toggle the conditions then naturally you must synchronise the switch and the condition when using switches with distinct on and off positions. Is this an issue with FSUIPC or Prepar3d as it is a real pain over time to have to keep resetting the switches before flight. When assigning switches to the on/off positions then exiting Prepar3d and returning switches such as Master Alternator, Fuel Pump, and Beacon to name a few observable ones will invert so the on becomes off and off becomes on. There is something between Prepar3d and FSUIPC that boggles me. Quote from KelvinNZ on December 24, 2013, 16:01
